About

We were founded by a physical therapist and his wife, a nurse, and are still owned and operated by healthcare professionals. We are honest and upfront. Their recruiters go through training and work hard to be helpful and supportive for their travelers (you work with the same recruiter for your entire tenure with Cariant). They believe in building strong relationships with our travelers, and many of them travel with us for years. ‍They have travel jobs in all 50 states.  They also have contracts direct with certain facilities and first access to allied travel needs in the Midwest, California, and Washington State via their parent company, RehabVisions.  We currently work with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Techs, and allied health professionals.‍They have a small team, but they like to think size doesn’t matter as they still provide excellent service and many of the same benefits as larger companies in this industry.  In addition, they are not publicly traded, which means they do not have to answer to shareholders and can make changes to better their travelers on a quick turnaround.‍Their recruiters run a smaller desk compared to the average in this industry.  Working with fewer travelers allows their recruiters to get to know them well, communicate better, and stay on top of their travel needs.  Their recruiters are the contact for both the traveler and the client.  Cariant knows their travelers and what they are looking for and is the best candidate champion.  They have an emergency 24-hour contact, and their recruiters always share their cell phone information.  And yes, they are Joint Commission certified.‍Compatibility is typically discovered through initial calls.  The recruiter learns the traveler’s communication style and frequency preferences, how they like to be submitted, and how to line up their subsequent contracts.  But if a traveler is truly unhappy with their current recruiter pairing, they can talk to the Division Manager about working with a different recruiter.‍They have a national health insurance plan and offer dental and vision insurance.  They also provide a 401k.  You are fully vested in a company match from day one.  Other competitive benefits include 100% licensure reimbursement (no limit), continuing education reimbursement, direct deposit/weekly pay, sick days, and retention rewards.  Other benefits are basic life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, voluntary disability, and supplemental term life insurance.‍Cariant knows there are a lot of companies out there.  Hundreds!  They believe the recruiter makes the difference in your experience.  So don’t be afraid to try out companies you may not hear about often.  Most companies receive the same job openings, and pay packages will not vary by significant amounts.  To find a recruiter who has your back and stick with them.
